With that big a crew you must go through a ton of veggies!!!

We try to mix it up from week to week. Our lizard gets only veggies most days of the week so we try to keep her salads interesting. I just wished she liked more of the same greens I do. I bought her Swiss chard once and she spit it out:gig

Not really main diet is pellets/hay/seed and we split the other stuff up as once daily treats. Parsley and Spinach bunches usually last 2 days each and only 1 bell pepper covers all 5. So store cost is approximately $5 per week????? ....when there’s nothing in the garden......

Yeah, most of the rescues do pediatric spays and neuters now. Two of my brother’s dogs were already fixed at 12 weeks when they got them 😭 the one is a large breed too which that’s even worse for. The other they could fix whenever and they were gonna wait till he was 18 months or 24 but did it at about a year I think. Which isn’t super but better than 12 weeks.

I have seen where they have done females at 5 weeks old. Not good, then they put them up for adoption at 6 weeks.

What! That’s terrible. They are doing more harm than good spaying them that early. Even worse that it’s females.

Yeah for real! Some breeders are starting to wait till 9-10 now instead of 8 or sometimes even 12 or basing it on when the puppy is ready developmentally rather than one date for the whole litter. I like that.

Yeah, I have seen some of the problems from that. Like her leaking when it should be her cycle time, and not being able to do anything about it.
