I was SO desperate to move the family back into our own home 4 years after Katrina. We had floors and walls, stored food on boards between chairs, washed dishes at the hose bib in the backyard and BBQ'd everything. (I'm lucky they didn't smother me in my sleep.)
That was in '09 and three rooms are still not finished.
I listened to THIS song repeatedly back then.

A Northern Flicker! My favorite kind of bird
