⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

How's learning how to drive in that nasty coming along?
I haven't driven much in it. I got caught out today when it started to snow pretty heavily, but I drove slow, no sudden acceleration or braking. I didn't slip.

Ice is the worst. Luckily the people up here slow down and don't drive like maniacs when it's snowy and icy, so the one time I slipped on some ice I was going slow and it was easy to correct.

Front wheel drive like yours tends to be pretty easy-going in little snows as long as the height clears! ❤️

A little bummed because in usual fashion, it appeared we were going to have an early spring but lows are dropping below freezing and it was even spitting snow yesterday. 😫

But I do have a robin that has taken up residence in our garden! She doesn’t even pay attention to the dogs 😂

No sign of spring here. The ground is still frozen.

It's still white out and the ground is frozen here. I have a shovel I stuck in the ground where I dig my free sand. Checked again this morning after above freezing temps all night and it is still frozen solid and will not budge.
The figs were hit hard this year. Looks like the backyard fig froze to the ground. Starting to send new shoots up. The front yard fig has one out of 8 trunks putting on leaves. I'll need to prune them back now that I know what lived.

Flowers everywhere along the roadsides. Bluebonnets are coming.
