If they were cooperative like my Leghorns, you could do a video of an egg being laid.

They lay sporadically and all over the place. How would you do this?

Put hen in small cage with 12 cameras getting all the angles? I see the video as a hen running around. Stopping. Sitting down. Hen stands up and wa-la! An egg appears! Nothing up my sleeve type of thing.

Another channel I watch has Chicken TV time. He puts up his flock being fed & just being chickens. Therefore, do a "feed time" for quail TV. Think of the aquarium shows where people sit and watch a video of an aquarium for hours.

Try live streaming the quail cage and see how many people watch?

Hen stands up, hunches over and squeezes out egg which drops into nest. Egg is all glistening and wet.

Easier to see the process with a chicken than a quail because of the longer legs.

I've seen one of my quail lay once. She stopped, dropped an egg, then kept going. It was wet.

I had a turkey hen doing that until she figured out what was going on. I kept finding her eggs in the grass in about the same spot. Then I saw what she was doing. It was a fast walk with a squat and drop the egg without even slowing down as she kept going.

That's coturnix pretty much all the time.

I decided to some video shorts featuring different colours. We'll see how they do.

I'm thinking about editing my shorts series into one long video too, but I need to find some decent, cheap (if not free) video editing software to use.

There are a number of free ones available. For simple editing, the one on your phone should work but not likely to work for merging files.

YouTube's editor works for cutting but not merging. I have to admit, I do not like doing video editing on a 5" screen, so I would prefer to not do it on my phone.

I find my phone video editor works well for cropping.
