⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

They are normal here during the winter. It was -2⁰F this morning.
I'm not looking forward to going out onto the icy roads tomorrow when it's 7F out there... I did a short test run today, and though I slipped on the ice a bit, I wasn't in any danger of accident. It helps that I never got above 12 mph.

Studded tires make a huge difference.

I've heard that, but I have all season tires. I got rid of my summer tires when I moved up here. Those were good year 'round where I came from, but I knew they wouldn't cut it up here.
The one bad feature of studded tires is they tear up dry roads.

I've heard that too. I wonder if socks are better? My car doesn't take chains, it takes "socks". I ordered some when I first moved up here, but the tire store never called me to let me know they'd arrived, so I never picked them up.

I don't know anything about socks and have not used chains since the early '70s.
