⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

My mom just found a tiny bird my kittens had been messing with. She wanted me to get the pellet gun and kill it, since it was laying in the ground in shock. She thought it’s brains were coming out- it just had a massive tick on it. We pulled it off and now it’s sitting in my hand. It will probably die. I’m giving it sugar water though.

Keep it warm.

Are you turning all screens off an hour or three before it's time for bed?
Yeah. I'm almost never on my phone at night. I rarely watch TV, and I'm usually done with school at least three hours before bed, so I'm not in my laptop

Like Bee said, keep it nice and warm. Setup a cardboard box or storage tub with paper towels at the bottom. Offer some food and water but don't expect it to eat or drink right away since its probably in shock.
Looks like a female house sparrow.

It is a house sparrow so you can legally do anything (not harmful) that you want with it, including keeping it as a pet. Personally I would have put it down.

It might not die. Your hand might be further stressing it. Can you put it in an open box with some grass or hay or even a towel? Got any meal worms for it?

It doesn’t look like a baby, but if it is, put it in the box outside where mom can find it.

I've always wanted one of those as a pet.

It looks like it'll recover though. I wouldn't ever put something down if it can recover unless it were a threat to my animals.
