It’s dark out. My kittens would get it again anyways. It might not die. Your hand might be further stressing it. Can you put it in an open box with some grass or hay or even a towel? Got any meal worms for it?
It doesn’t look like a baby, but if it is, put it in the box outside where mom can find it.

Then I'd keep it as a pet.Starlings and House Sparrows are invasive and overpopulated. Something needs to control their populations. They are the only song birds that it is legal to kill.
I didn’t see any, other than where I pulled out the tick. It’s dead now anyways. At least I have it a chance, and it was warm and comfortable instead of being further tortured by cats.@HappyDuckie
Are they're any puncture wounds? Or any wounds at all? If so, please post a pic
I’m sorry. You tried. Sometimes it works & sometimes it doesn’t.It’s dark out. My kittens would get it again anyways.
I did just have it in a box, on a heating pad. It started seizing and died.

Were its wings messed up?I didn’t see any, other than where I pulled out the tick. It’s dead now anyways. At least I have it a chance, and it was warm and comfortable instead of being further tortured by cats.
I have been chastised from all walks of people for 'keeping my wife at home' when we had kids. It was one of my stipulations. (And no diapers.....)It was a whole generation's loss for both men and women.
No. I didn’t see any wounds at all. Were its wings messed up?
