They have a little niggly bit from the inside of the egg hanging off of their bottoms, beneath the vent, but that shrivels up and falls off after a short while.
Kind of like umbilical cords on goats and stuff.

I'll check tomorrow, if you want. I'll have to do it with the big boy, though -- I can barely even find the vents on the hens. Too much fluff.
