In my opinion the only way to eat sucker is pickled. The vinegar softens the bones to the point they are edible.

Sucker? I thought I was responding to boiling chickens for stock.

It was shipped from Enchanted Manor Meadery via FedEx. I have no idea how it was labeled because I never got it. That tells me it had to be pretty bad.

By label I was thinking somehow Mead was on the box...a dead giveaway to a thirsty thief.

After being on BYC for years mine went back to 0 around the redo of the site. Which since I'm not nearly as active.

@CLSranch is an Okie friend for a long time.

We smoke and pressure can them at the moment. Haven't really thought about pickled. We used roll mop pickled herring for sturgeon bait. I got yelled at for sampling the jar now and again.

Should work for any fish that the bones are small. I had some pickled sucker in WV and liked it.

Depends on what you mean by "big". I also sometimes find it funny in the moment to make writing excessive verbose but I later end up finding it cringey. Though I guess after a while, I usually find most other things that I've written to also be cringey.

It's worse than that.

Cringe worthy is the past giggling in our face when we stop to look over our shoulder.
