What? No. Muffins and cookies are totally different. The batter is most often a much different consistency, and the order of the ingredients is very specific for muffins.

The drawer freezer single top door are really, really hard to find now adays....
When our last kitchen fridge died I had 1 rule, bottom pull out freezer. Everything else was negotiable with my Better-half. I liked the idea of a single top door but, the few I found were nearly $700 more.... And iirc a few were backorder only....

Yep.

The gizmo between the door of mine gets sticky and sometimes doesn't close all the way. (2 teenage boys) Lost a fridge full one 4 day weekend we went camping.

Doesn't have to be. You can toss all the ingredients into the mixing bowl at once and get good muffins out of the batter.
