so did anyone catch the big remodeling boo boo?? when we went from a vanity to a pedestal sink, the mirror and light bar are off center and have to be moved. they also changed the brackets on the mirror sometime over the last 10 years so we have to remove the old anchors, the new anchors and patch/paint the walls

the pedestal sink is actually much bigger than I thought it would be!!! but i like the open floor and wall space that we have with it between it and the toilet. it’s all hooked up but still a leak in the drain that mr muddy has to fix before we can use it

Does your pedestal sink, the sink part mounts to the wall and the pedal is basically just standing there? As in the wall is holding all the weight

basically yes....while the pedestal does offer some support, the load is mainly on the stud bolts

and it offers a minute amount of masking the plumbing
