Yuppers... My latest haikus in their own thread are a direct omage to this....So private companies generate the power and supply it to the state of Texas super gods.
Some of these private companies literally froze so they cannot produce the energy that provides us with electricity.
And in the last hour or so they were able to get a couple hundred thousand people back up and running.

So far we have had 7 blackouts...
Currently power is one.... Not sure how long.
Tractor - battery is currently getting a booster charge (while power is on)
Jetta - failed to start on 1st go round; 23y/o parked it nose facing North (even thought I specifically told home to back in and park in front of the Z3)
Godzilla- it started fine as it should but, stalled out.... block heater plugged in, doesn't help if fuel pressure gauge stays at ZERO psi... seems either a line or the fuel filter bowl had a freeze up somewhere.
So we're stuck for now.....
