⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

We just made it back from filling up on gas.
The lines are insane. The one grocery store that's open had a line that is way too long to stand out in the freezing cold drizzly rain in.
I'll try the grocery store again tomorrow.
We don't need anything I just want to go buy something.

I feel like I haven't slept in days.
I'm going to try to take a nap now and I might actually cook today.

Looks like today and tomorrow will be the rest of the crap weather. Saturday will be above freezing!

Hang in there.
I'm afraid the power crap is going to stick around for longer than this week.

I'm dreading it.

I feel for Texans and everyone suffering this unusual frigid weather. It's challenging for those of us prepared for it, unbearable for many of you!

Unsolicited advice: If you own any wool or silk clothes, wear them. They are excellent insulators. (Surround yourself with your chickens, too!) And beware of black ice, which looks like water. No rubber boots or four wheel drive vehicles are a match for ice. Just go slooooow if you have to go out at all. Hope you're all safe.
We don't do wool down here.
I highly doubt I have anything silk either.
Thankfully my power is back on and I'm nice and warm. Also there is no way in the world I'm bringing my chickens inside my house.
