Oh wow! has he been to a therapist or anything? Most of the time on those hoarder shows they don’t just clean the place, they also have a mental health specialist or therapist or whatever there too to help them through the emotional stuff and deal with the issues underneath. I’m sure you guys have tried everything though but just figured I’d put it out there. They have professional people that deal with hoarders.

He has a therapist. He's on disability for reasons. He has more issues than just hoarding.

Yep. I do not understand how someone as germophobic as he is can live like that. He gets weird about using someone else's bathroom, refused to use his bed after his stepdad sat on it in his underwear, but will drag a cat pee covered couch for miles and keeps bags of literal garbage in his house.
