In certain cultures it is highly prized. Some game farms make money harvesting the antlers in the velvet and selling them.

I saw more than 29 snowflakes today, before lunch.. broke last year's record....
Sadly, they committed suicide in the yard. Speared by all the blades of grass and eventually broke down and melted into the soil. We had at least an inch deep of them big and little buggers. Kiddos has a short snowball fight.... Not enough to make even a small snow figure before it had melted away.
