I've never been to one of those before. I've heard of them though. I thought they just sold meat breedsit was at our Rural King https://images.app.goo.gl/XXTh7cUw7Ey5jPBi6
this gray one was the closest google picture i could find. I’m not sure why i didn’t grab my phone and snap a picture while i was there. I almost had mr muddy talked into getting it for me but he said not until he figures out something better for the guinea pigs.
Well, they all are edible and grow pretty fast but these are most often kept as pets because of their cute floofiness. I don't think I've ever seen people breed them for meat but they are great show rabbits. Some popular meat breeds are Florida whites, Californians, and New Zealand's.Those the fast growing edible ones?
Mare! I'm covering my run this weekend, then guess what group I'm getting first? I'm taking my last surviving little cochin, Fox, her baby (pullet), two more little cochin pullets from a friend that needs them gone, and my gorgeous 4 year rooster, Robert the Bruce, that another friend has had for years. They will be my first chickens at the new place. I'm so excited!

She's the sweetest bird ever. Total lap chicken. I'm hoping to breed her because she also has incredible feather quality, is an outstanding brooder, and an even better mama bird. I'd love to keep her genetics around.Fox is precious!! So excited for you!!! I expect lots of pics!![]()
Go for it! The lap girlfriends are the best. All mine are gone. She's the sweetest bird ever. Total lap chicken. I'm hoping to breed her because she also has incredible feather quality, is an outstanding brooder, and an even better mama bird. I'd love to keep her genetics around.
When I send you call eggs, I'll send Fox eggs too.Go for it! The lap girlfriends are the best. All mine are gone.
Now there's just hateful Rona Louise.

I would love Fox eggs! I'm scared to try more chickens yet though. I know the dux can't get the plague. When I send you call eggs, I'll send Fox eggs too.
Dux are straight up plague proof, that's for sure. Especially the calls. Hardy little buggers. You will have a lap duck. Unfortunately, they poop even more than lap chickens.I would love Fox eggs! I'm scared to try more chickens yet though. I know the dux can't get the plague.
After I nuke my stuff and figure out a place for the Rona, I may take you up on that. Just don't want to endanger any babies.
