It was already dead. I just performed a caesarean to liberate the trapped offspring.

Others that I rescued.

Are you planting them all?
My problem is heat storage. Solar heat works fine if you have a way to store it. My intention is solar electric with a bank of batteries to run a heater.

There are optimal methods of both heating and cooling a greenhouse. One way to start is with a Walpini which places the floor of the greenhouse below the frost level.

A method that is beneficial is a heat exchanger which operates on air drawn through buried pipes. The air temperature will be approximately the same year round. It will warm the greenhouse during the winter and cool it during the summer.
I would think a wind turbine wouldnt be a bad idea for you? Just sayin’ :lau

I forgot about a tomato once

The best I have ever had potatoes grow was in a long dormant sawdust plot. I planted 8 lbs. of potatoes and dug up 220 lbs. of potatoes. Many were in the 4 lb. range. The biggest was 7 1/2 lbs.

I did not have steak and potatoes with that one, I had potato and steaks.

Wind turbines a evil. They do not tell you the truth about wind turbines. They are very harmful to all wildlife, not just the birds.

Not the giant ones, the smaller ones like what goes on a rooftop.
How are they harmful to wildlife? I know some theories, but not much.

So, if I use wood chip bedding, the closest I can get to sawdust, what should I mix it with? Or should it be just the sawdust?
I want to improve my black thumb dang it! 🤣🤣
