He may not be lying if he says he never got the text. That happens a lot. He's often traveling through bad signal areas when I try to send a message.
Sometimes my texts don't go through until he's already home.

And very little cooking.
He will cook outside but not inside. Barley even uses the microwave. This is why he does not know what groceries we have.

Hmm that makes sense! Our area usually has pretty good service though since it’s so populated/developed but sometimes it doesn’t so who knows. Calls usually work. I think he just doesn’t notice them when then pop up and then they disappear. Or doesn’t look at till after. That’s a possibility too.
