Our first morning snow...just 2 inches and 4 degree temperature.


Stiff this morning and my right wrist is swollen a little...guess I tried to break my fall yesterday.
Plugged in the diesel truck heater to warm up the engine before we go feed the herds.
We have 150 head of cows and calves spit into 4 pastures and the neighbor’s 28 head.
Then will check on the chickens and barn cats. We put heater tape on the well pump in the barn so if electric doesn’t go out, we have water for the birds.

they have officially called a winter storm warning here from 7p today until 1pm Tuesday. also increased possible snow totals......up to 20” by Friday.

20 inches?! Wow! The most snow I’ve ever seen was 4 or 5 inches!
