36 right now. It was sleeting snowing right at daylight then rained pretty good around 930ish. We never lost power i was saying what entergy said on the news. Tomorrow morning we'll see. Its all flooded so hopefully I dont hurt myself when I go playing in it. Its good you have the lake breeze. Take care and stay safe

DH went to work this morning, the hospital offered them rooms in an old hotel they built decades ago in case they can't get home tonight. Wouldn't be so bad for us, since he has to work tomorrow as well. DD is off of school this week, for Mardi Gras (ghost) break.

We got snow last night and the night before and are expecting to stay below freezing all day. The chickens seem to think I am personally responsible for the bad weather. Most of them are refusing to leave the coop and ALL of them are giving me the stink eye any time I look in on them. Even when I bring treats!

All good here. We never lost power. All the sleet crushed two of my chicken runs so I had to deal with that this morning.

We should be in the mid to low 20's tonight. That is really cold for us. That's when our gas back up heater kicks in.
