Our pressure tank holds about 35 gallons of usable water. When the power goes out we conserve. When the pressure tank runs out, we fill it back up.

We're on well water, so when the power goes out we hook the generator up to the well pump panel if we need water.

we have a well, electric pump. When power problems are predicted, we fill bathtub and use that water to flush toilet

It looked like there was a string he was trying to get. I wonder if that was the pull switch for said fan? Ive seen dumber things

I watched the same thing happen at my house. The fool was trying to retrieve a birthday balloon that got caught up in the ceiling fan. As the kid (teen) sat there nursing his hand, DS coolly walked to the switch, turned it off and retrieved the errant balloon. The flourish and roomful of smirks as he presented it to our sheepish guest was movie-worthy. Why do the best moments happen while no one is holding a cell phone camera?

I’m over this winter stuff. My kids need to be back at school and their mother back at work. My sanity is being rtested and I’m starting to question myself. Roads are still uber sketchy so it’s not looking good for the home team. Its one big mess and a constant pounding of screaming children. There was a mandarin orange fight I mean there is like 8 inches of snow outside and you throw my oranges!!! Wtf
