Oh boy, down here we dip oreo's in batter, cake batter, cookie batter, it don't mater the batter...and then deep fry them. yep yep we do.

Not beer batter, I hope -- oreos and beer don't sound at all like they would go very well in the same bite.

KiKi, I can see where you are coming from. There are some YT videos how to use a stove to make wood gas burning wood pellets and using that gas to run a generator, so don't feel bad, you are not all that backwards. Just thinking in a different direction

Even beered up, the batter is somewhat sweet. ... and if you drink enough beer before you eat the battered oreo's you will think they are great!

Might not be far from it. With the right type of bacteria in your gut, you could have all that sugar intake being turned into alcohol.
