I suspect the extreme cost of education is directly related to the govt's willingness to guarantee student loans. Heck, why not? They don't even bother to print the money at this point. They just imagine it and voila! It exists.

My grandma made the best banana nut cake in the world.
I spotted this and this totally reminds me of her banana nut cake.

Back in the old days, when I had a cat named Lionel, I made a cake similar to this. It was layered and as I had the layers out to cool, before placing the pudding layer between the other layers; Lionel ate the middle out of one of the layers.
I used that one as the middle layer and filled the hole with extra banana pudding filling. I told no one what had happened, served it for dessert and everyone raved over what a great cake it was.
