Had another grass fire intentionally set on our west road boundary at 5 pm this evening. Hubby had been down checking the herd at 3 pm. Fire trucks from Meeker and Prague responded and the crews were able to put out the fire in spite of the high winds.
Several neighbors helped us herd the cows up to a higher pasture away from the smoke and fire.
Sure wish we could catch this person....I would like to wring someone's neck!

They tossed an old mattress outside the barbwire fence and set it ablaze....burned another 15 acres from the gravel road to the creek. Fireman said they used a flammable liquid.
