I'm setting them to see if they hatch.
They weren't laid. I harvested them out of the butchered birds.

Harvested works for me. I've harvested eggs like that also, but didn't set them.

My unpainted, harvested eggs were fertile.....but I don’t think they hatched. If memory serves me correctly, they were quitters.
