I usually put those by the tree out front for the squirrels, cats, and neighborhood dogs to eat!

We found a nest of baby rats when helping to clean out the end of the barn. I called the cat over and she was very excited for her protein snack.

I thought I’d be nice and try to save them. Which is working out quite well, so far.

Because chickens like pinkies and tiny grays...a great source of protein.
Wild mice are just that...not easy to feed at this age because they still nurse their mother. It is more cruel to allow them to waste away without proper nourishment and care.

2x I’ve tried to save ones older than that before. It’s nearly impossible especially if you don’t have experience.

If you do choose to try to save them make sure they are laying on their bellies when you feed them so they don’t aspirate the formula and you will need to stimulate them to use the bathroom.

Well no sorry that came across as rude, didn't it .I've just always viewed you as like 17 or 18. I know I'm probably just digging myself deeper into a hole at this point but that's kinda what I do. I'm just that bad at talking
