Morning!!! I think it's been, what, 3 years now since the broken leg incident. He's doing well, still has issues with pain and swelling but the ortho said due to his weight it's to be expected. He's been working from home now over a year due to Covid so his food has gone up a star. (best I could do for yummy) It has been amusing as I come home often to find the kitchen rearranged or new shelving purchased. The latest is chrome racks now with all sauces displayed. Ikea catalogs are everywhere. He says hi and thanks you for thinking of him!

What do y'all think about the new TSC brooders? I haven't seen them yet, last time I went they still had the old setups.

I'm glad I stumbled on this thread! My thoughts go out to everyone! Same issue here in DE/MD. I purchased 6 bantam chicks on Wednesday from one of my 3 DE TSC stores and as of this morning 3 have died. I have done mail order chicks and TSC for the past 20 years and this is a first for me as well. I think I have managed to stabilize the remaining 3 thank goodness. That TSC had the "old fashioned" brooder bins/metal tubs but after the TSC employee starting scooping up my chicks there were clearly dead ones beneath the "healthy" ones. I went home with my 6 peeps but was worried...and clearly I was right. I went to the MD TSC by me this morning to see what they had. That TSC had the new plastic tower brooders and I wanted to vomit at the state the chicks and ducklings were in. I didn't purchase any more and am just hoping for the best with my remaining 3. I had done a My Pet Chicken order back in September and was panicking as that was during the height of the whole post office mess....but that went great and I got the chicks in record time....all 10 happy and healthy and thrived...now getting eggs!

Well....I suppose I could try drinking green tea every two hours like they said. Then I could get some steps in by spending all my time running to the bathroom Or bouncing off the walls all night.

Does drinking an entire pot in the morning count? It probably evens out to a small cup every two hours, but over the space of about two hours instead...

Just don't stop drinking every morning. Cause then you will be dead.

Maybe but we’ve always just called them yellow bass. Even though the weather wasn’t great, we still did okay. Big bag mixed fillets in the cooler! About half a dozen each type fish, yellow bass channel cat and white crappie.

I believe that it's somewhere around 24 hours without a PFM.
