I'm going to be cooking a feast tomorrow. It's the roomate's birthday, so I'm making sushi, miso soup, tempura, shiu mai, Japanese spinach salad, cucumber salad, pickled daikon, and tteokbokki for her.

That sounds .......are you going to add quail egg shots to the sushi menu?? I may have to make some even though we’re having brisket mr muddy and I were just talking about how long it’s been since we made our own sushi!

Of course my stupid dux ate at least 3 quail eggs today that I know of!! I only collected 5 so she may have eaten up to half a dozen!!

Have had an interesting morning! Mr muddy woke up and started his dinner and then we picked up the mini’s truck from the shop (had new brakes put on) then mini and I went off to run errands. I took him for updated eye exam and new glasses. I wanted to take him out for breakfast, but it was nearly an hour wait to get into any of the breakfast restaurants. I decided to check out the new petco and they said they were continuing mask policies so I informed them that I knew where the exit was!! A business can ask me to leave but they can’t ask me to leave but they cannot force me to put on a mask!! With 5 other pet stores within 2 miles, i have plenty of options to give my business to. So I went and picked up the ace pineapple keg and more pool chemicals before heading home. DS2 is supposed to take mini to get a birthday haircut and pick up his glasses this afternoon and update his eye exam. So I’ve been doing a little housecleaning. Some of my late Easter presents and early Mother’s Day stuff has arrived in addition to more stuff for the garden so there’s always plenty to do!!
