If you ever need epoxy to waterproof something I highly recommend steelflex not to be confused with flex steel infomercial junk. I coat the bottom of my boats with it and its indestructible

We’re covering with aluminum diamond plate and new trim. We’re going to use flex seal tape on the corners before diamond plate. I happened to have redguard leftover from the bathroom remodel so I painted it on some of the wood for extra water barrier.
