i’ve got babies everywhere #4 is lonely and yelling to go to the brooder!

rainy, yucky day but we replaced the pool pump motor, picked up more supplies for the camper project, made wood fire pizzas and calzones, picked up groceries, set up and moved babies to the brooder, fed the critters and checked out all the new babies outside! not our most productive day, but pretty good for the weather.

My daughter sent me this pic its nice to see deer where she was. Its good to see cause where she was is overrun with hogs which destroy what the deer feed on and are driving them away

Always loved seeing deer growing up seemed like they were kinda rare. Now, in my area farmers are granted permits to lower numbers. The last two years the farmer that rented my in-laws land didn’t even run a combine over 125 acres from deer. Needless to say he let his lease expire without renewing.
CWD is now here so we will see how that’s affects their numbers.
Hogs are close to us but not here yet.

I took a shower and washed my hair.
