The longest is 12" and the thickest is 2 3/4" in diameter.

that’s definitely a good haul! we did tomatoes today 4 qts tomato sauce and 2 qts spaghetti sauce. my cucumbers are just about done for the season. i’ve never had the serpent ones. are they tasty??

I canned 4 qts. of tomatoes yesterday.

I picked one of the smaller ones because the vine died and had it in my salad. It was good. When they get really big they are fine in salads but did not pickle well for me. The end of the season little ones made great pickles.

The big dark green ones are Marketmore 97 with 55 days to maturity and are excellent even when that big. Other varieties often have completely formed hard cased seeds by the time they get that big.
