So are their any armchair attorneys out there can can answer if its legal for a company to require a subcontracted person to get vaccinated?. The subcontracted company does not require it
If the subcontractor is working as a representative of their company, and their company has a contract with their clients saying that all of their workers are vaccinated, they would have to.

They shouldn't be able to do that but it seems that these things are legal now.

If someone were to get fired from a job for not getting it then they can sue.

No contract saying all the subcontracted company employees are vaccinated. Sub company does not require vaccine. And this person has been working for the company as a sub with the same sub company not requiring the vaccine as a sub to the company requiring a vaccine for12 years

It's hard to say without reading the contracts involved. Businesses are private property, so they do have a lot of leeway on rules while on company grounds. If the subcontractor is going to be on premises, I think it's legal. I'm not a lawyer, though, so I very well be completely wrong.

Around here, places are requiring vaccines or weekly COVID testing.

there is no "contract". There was a contract for the first 3 years then it just kept going without a contract year after year cause the employee in question is really good at what he does and is experienced with the company ways and day to day operations of the company requiring the vaccine

If he's a contractor, they don't fire him, they just stop contracting him. Most states are "at will" so it's really hard to prove discrimination. Sounds like he may want to contact a real lawyer. Legal Aide is free, but a some of the lawyers don't really know what they're doing. It's a place to start, at least.

If he is a contractor he isn't an employee.
