⭐ Kiki's Year Long 🌶️

And this is why I play the TCG. I don't have to go outside when it's cold.
Pokémon Go gets me out of the house. I'm a homebody by nature, and would happily sit at home in front of a computer all day. My morning walks are Pokémon Go motivated. I walk to a gym that's about a km away and back.

Pokémon Go has probably kept me from gaining 50 pounds (or more) since it came out.

That's great! I downloaded it once, but unfortunately didn't find much in my area.

I may be a Pokemon Go addict. It's snowing and will be all day. I've only driven once in snow, and it wasn't this deep. I'm still thinking of going out today because it's community day. I'm only going to go about a mile away, which is walking distance, bit I don't want to spend hours outside...

I'm still debating between driving that mile or walking across the railroad tracks and freeway to a smaller park with fewer pokestops.

It's repeat community day, so I may just do the walk. Probably safer.
Wait, I thought the Community day was next weekend?

My area doesn’t really have much either, I mostly play it when I run errands. There are 2 gyms in town close enough to one tiny spot where I can join an open WiFi network to play, because there’s no cell service 🤣

Oh, and the landmark for one of them doesn’t actually exist anymore 🤣

Please don't go driving in snow if you don't need to and aren't used to it. Also, I hope you have snow tires?

I have all season tires. I did drive the mile, but t was on residential streets where going 15 mph or less is perfectly acceptable in snow. I figured it wouldn't hurt to get a bit of experience in an environment where I can go slow and it's a short distance.

I do need to contact the tire shop where I got my tires. They were supposed to order socks for my tires but never called. My tires don't take chains.

I've never heard of tire socks.
All seasons are not fit for snow. After 30yrs of winter driving, trust me on this

I'll believe you. I won't drive out of town. The worst I'll drive in will be a few inches to get to plowed streets. I'll be aware that there could well be icy patches and drive nice and slow.

To be honest, I've been watching the weather closely and doing my grocery runs between the snow days. Once I'm fully set up, I'll probably do a big rice, flour, sugar, bean, butter and spice run in the early winter and live off of greenhouse veggies, quail eggs and meat, and tilapia.
