Scraps likes having the quail pens in the greenhouse. I just wish I could convince him to stay in it. I tried closing the door completely to try to keep in what little heat I could. He dug his way out of the greenhouse this morning and then couldn't get back in. Dummy.

He was like okay Bet! Then he gets out realizes its cold AF and then panics to get back in the warmth. Sounds like a rebellious teenager.

He's inside now. He's the only one of my cats that has not been a house cat for his whole life. He did run out once when it was 17 degrees outside. He was back within 30 minutes yowling to be let back in.

I can't wait for my house to be done so I can move in, not just have a cot and a few things.

I was SO desperate to move the family back into our own home 4 years after Katrina. We had floors and walls, stored food on boards between chairs, washed dishes at the hose bib in the backyard and BBQ'd everything. (I'm lucky they didn't smother me in my sleep.)
That was in '09 and three rooms are still not finished.
