When I first moved out here, an old man in Mills was arrested for shooting and eating robins.

You can pretty much be assured that someone in the neighborhood is feeding them.

I don't know if anyone is actively feeding them, but there are a lot of apple trees in the area. They come and eat the fallen leaves and fruit. There are leaves on the trees late this year.
