Well, schools are out today because of the power outage. Power has been restored to most of town, but school's still closed. I guess I can expect young visitors today. I'll distract them with Nugget. They haven't met him yet.

Nugget appears to have made it through the night just fine. He was a bit sluggish when I went out there, but I think that's because I woke him up. When I picked him up his feet were warm, so I think he'll be fine for the winter out there.

You can pick him up? This is a good sign. Mine are wild and skittish. I blame the Ayam Cemani hertitage. The ones before that were mostly chill.

I have to chase him around a bit, but he does let me pick him up. He's pretty mellow, which is why he wasn't immediately invited to dinner.

None of mine are tame and none of them have any Ayam Cemani in them. It's how they were raised.
