I just shoveled about 6" off of my walks and driveway, and they are rapidly getting covered again. It seems like it's less work if I shovel a couple times during the day rather than wait until it's "done snowing". Also, it seems like I'm more likely to be able to get out or for people to get in if I do it more often. For those of you who have lived in snow country for a while, am I right?

I don't plan to drive anywhere, but in case of an emergency it seems like a good idea to be able to get out.

I only shovel snow when I need to clear an area on the deck so I can get the door open. The wood pellets are stored in the greenhouse. I need to be able to open the door to go the shortest distance to the greenhouse.

I only got 2 5/8" Thursday and another inch yesterday.
