You couldn't pay me enough to make pumpkin soup.

Most will be given away. Some may end up being poultry food. I still have lots of pumpkin puree in the freezer to make muffins with.
The pumpkin is mostly tasteless. I use it as a thickening agent and filler for soups. If you don't like the pumpkin chucks, they will blend into the soup. Good for a chicken soup.
