Introductions and questions

So I've never seen my Polish ever in the nesting boxes ever. At 8 months I thought I would at least see the Polish in there at some point. I've never seen nugget who is the Splash Marans in the nesting boxes either. So I'm not sure what to think at this point. I know my polish has never laid an egg.
Their backs have looked like that since August I would assume that if they were molting that their feathers would have grown back by now and the other girls wouldn't look like they've had nuggies on their backs. I'm just so confused because I never thought that I had a rooster in there. Now I did check some eggs last night and I do have a bullseye so I know I have a rooster in there. They were raised together and they did go after my outdoor cat together so they're working as a coalition, I'm assuming. But I don't hear any crowing. The Polish never makes any noise at all, not even when I'm bringing food or going into spend time with them. All of the other ones including nugget make tons of noise when I'm coming in with food or treats or setting up my stool to spend time with them. Also my polish used to have a very soft more rounded bouffant and now it is becoming more spiky in appearance and has little nubs where talons would grow. Nugget has obvious talents growing and getting larger.
My main concern is for my wyandottes. My Columbian and my silver laced. The Columbian Wyandotte I'm concerned about the most I know is a rooster and is only 13 weeks old will they try and hurt him? I actually was talking with a friend of mine today and they actually suggested getting a coop specifically for my wyandottes. Do you think that's a good idea? Sorry to be so indecisive I'm just actually shocked that I found Spurs on what I thought were my girls last night. I was guaranteed females when I purchased them in the spring from the online Hatchery who has a very good reputation and here I am 8 months later.
The polish may well be a cockerel. I honestly have no experience with them. I do not see male specific feathering and the crown in nice and round. Also, it isn't unusual for a pullet to not lay by 8 months especially a low yield type breed.
I would be prepared with extra housing, if ai were you, but you can & should wait until you see how they get along. There will be some fighting, but depending on their personalities, it may not amount to much.
Sometimes cockerels and roosters will surprise you. I have several roosters and I have been able to keep multiple ages together at times. It doesn't always work so a plan B is a must.
