Simeon didn't answer. He just said "Let me carry you. I see your thigh hurts." His voice was expressionless, he felt no more pain. He was just dazzled by everything.

"I can't." Brooklyn answered quickly, pressing her hand against her thigh so he couldn't see the blood flowing from it. "You're hurt."

Brooklyn slowly nodded her compliance. She steadied herself on the stairs, looking to Simeon for relief from her pain.
Simeon picked her up softly ina cradling position, avoiding pressure on her wounded thigh. He soon reached the truck, and set her in the front. He got in the driver's seat, but only after wipin off the blood that had soaked into his left sleeve. Pain was tarting to blare in his head. He said "You need to go to the hospital, and so do I."

Brooklyn was grateful to Simeon for momentarily being releaved of the pain. As she was set in the front the vehicle she got a few scraps of fabric from the glove compartment; handing one to Simeon before take the other, grunting as she tied it as securely as she could around her thigh to slow the blood that was now gushing. "No, they'll only recognize us. Go here:" Brooklyn informed him proceeding to give him directions.

Simeon nodded, curious of where they were going. They arrived after about twenty minutes of driving. Simeon asked curiously "Where are we?"

Brooklyn smiled at the sight of what outwardly appeared to be a run-down three story, Victorian home. An older woman tensly approached the vehicle, but lowered her previously raised gun when she reconigzed Brooklyn. Running forward, she eagerly opened the passenger door and embraced Brooklyn.
-
Brooklyn embraced the woman momentarily before leaning back to whisper something into the ear of the woman who had become pale as she noticed the blood covering Brooklyn and the man beside her. She smiled as the woman hesitantly nodded and handed Brooklyn handcuffs. Turning to Simeon, a reassuring look on her face. "Do you trust me?" She asked, holding out the handcuffs, waiting for him to put his hands behind his back.

Simeon nodded, and winced as his shoulder was stretched as he put his hand behind his back. He didn't know what Brooklyn had put him in, but he didn't see how handcuffs were going to help him.

Brooklyn gently handcuffed Simeon, widening the cuffs so they allowed a small amount of freedom, but prevented him from being able to fight. She removed his gun, handing it to the woman, and got out of the truck. She then limped to his door, opening it for him so that he could get out.

Simeon got out, and kept his mouth shut. He looked around him, glaring at the old woman, who had been looking too long at him for his liking. He felt no security in this place, and asked Brooklyn "How are we going to heal from living in a mansion?"
