"Yep. And since good coffee is often my fuel to keep on living, I can now appreciate this place." Timothy told them and laughed.
"Now, time for yet another silly question I've been thinking about for a while. Mercy; are you from a different culture or something similar, or are you just an American? Because Mercy is a pretty unique name, and sounds like it has some sort of deeper meaning. And, it definitely doesn't sound American."
"Actually Mercy is one of the virtue names from the bible." Mercy said then shrugged and drank from her cup. "We were born here in America."
Cassie nodded and smiled a little. "Not that it matters where a name came from these days. People pick names from everywhere for their kids."

Han went to his office to brainstorm for a few moments, and to brew over his victory. He was sure everyone would talk about this. There was a death, it was in public, those little greedy journalists wouldn't be able to resist making this go 'viral'.

This day was going great. Well, not for Artemis, or that girl he killed, but for him nothing could be better. And he had an idea to make this day even better...
He was going to kick Artemis while she was down, and get straight to an interrogation. She was already broken, she had already tried. Maybe she was out of that fuel that made every teenager and young adult stubborn and lively.

At that thought, he stood from his chair and marched over to Mythe's office, because he had a little secret weapon that was going to be very useful in this interrogation. It was going to be so fun to watch...And less violent than whatever Mythe wanted to do.

There was the slightest tinge of regret as he knocked on the door, because Mythe immediately could be heard yelling something probably not appropriate to himself and storming over to the door to open it.

"What now??" He asked angrily when he saw Han, "Are you pregnant and need me to adopt the baby??"

"Well...I can see you're still thinking about Peter, good for you for having such a remarkable memory!" Han tried to laugh off the yelling, but suddenly he felt like he did something wrong, and Mythe was scolding him.

"Uh, anyway, let's shut this topic up. Me and my army caught Artemis and I need you to get that other boy born in a tube and have a little social gathering in a dark cell."

"And, can I bring anything else?" Mythe asked expectantly, hoping that the kid didn't get to do everything.

"No, Mythe. Just...No. No science experiments, period."

Mythe sighed and shook his head.
"Alright...Alright! Ruining my fun, I love it." Mythe said sarcastically, "I'll get him. Now tell me some essentials. Like, where the heck is Artemis?"

Han sighed and told Mythe all of the details. What to bring, where Artemis was, what the code was, when to be there, everything. And it was boring, and Mythe hated it because it involved no weapons or drugs.

Artemis tried to bring herself to lay down on the small cot in the corner of the room, but instead she stood since that was a way for her to think more easily. She kept one hand along the wall as she guided herself through the dark cell, ignoring the pain of her body as it protested that she should lay back down. She could, and would not let herself rest, there was to much she still had to process.

"Ooh, that's interesting. I've personally never read the bible, so sorry, but I think it's inspiring that your parents chose a name from such a holy thing! My parents didn't really name me because they thought it had meaning or anything. They just thought Timothy was a nice fit, I suppose. But, I was a fat, screaming baby trying to learn how to breathe right then so I don't know if I should feel insulted when they say the name still fits." He laughed and sighed, sipping at his coffee.
"Oh, and Cassie, is that hair natural? Like, those waves are so cute. I wish I could get my hair like that, but those curlers just destroy my hands. I always burn myself, I'm such an idiot!" He smiled humorously, looking to Cassie.

(So, who plays Caden?)

Han left Mythe's office, shaking his head slightly, and went to get his clipboard so he could write down anything Artemis says during the session. He also got handcuffs, just in case she did anything out of line.
He headed over to Artemis's cell, to spend some 'quality time' with her before Mythe came in with his tube baby and got her all worked up.

Artemis hesitated near the door, standing high on her toes to view out the small door window.

(I think I've read all that's necessary :caf If I'm off with something, let me know)

Amy smiled gratefully at the boy as he loaded the groceries into her car. "Thank you," she said once more before getting into the driver's seat. With Jenny keeping an eye on things at the shop, she had taken her time shopping to restock the near bare pantry. After the boy closed the back door and took the cart and left, Amy pulled out and headed for home, humming a pleasant tune to herself.
(Boy is she in for a surprise...)

Vanessa stared hard at Max, trying to read his blank expression.

Max stared right back, wearing an irksome hint of a smile. "No," he said quietly, "Jaxson isn't aware. Actually very few are. It was rather sudden, I believe." He pushed away from the desk and stood up, rounding the corner to go stand by the window.

Vanessa followed him with eyes only, choosing to stay put by the desk rather then move to his side. "What if she...?" She left the question unfinished, but they both knew what she implied.

Max clasped his hands behind his back and shook his head slowly. "If she knows what's good for him, the little brat won't spill," he said, chuckling darkly.
Amy arrived at the shop and entered, still humming, with grocery bags hung over both arms. She pushed the back door open with the toe of her foot. The first thing she noticed when she entered was the lack of noise. "Hello?" She called. She deposited the bags on the doorway and went to look in the kitchen, leaving the back door wide open. The front door was wide open as well, flooding the once cozy shop with light made eerie by the pool of dark liquid on the ground. Was that..blood? Wide eyed with fear, Amy stooped down see the pool better. She tentatively stuck the tip of her pinky nail in it, her brow furrowing in disgust as she was pretty positive it was indeed blood. But whose?? "Artemis? Jenny?" She called up the stairwell.

Vanessa stormed down the hallway towards her office, hurriedly typing up Jaxson's number as she went. It rang, and rang, and rang. Cursing under her breath, she stopped just long enough to redial.
-
With a roll of his eyes, Jaxson answered the call. "Yes??" He said impatiently.
-
"Where are you?" Vanessa demanded.
-
Jaxson scoffed. As if she really wasn't aware. "The same place I always am at this time," he said flatly. He didn't suspect a thing by her voice, since she always carried that tone since Artemis' escape.
-
Vanessa didn't say anything further. She simply hung up. He didn't know, or at least he was pretending he didn't. But he had never been a good liar in her opinion so she was pretty sure he didn't know.

Han took the elevator so he could get to the floor where the prisoners were kept, and walked straight over to Artemis's cell, which was pretty easy since it was the first one.

He looked up and saw that Artemis was trying to look out of the window in her cell, and he smirked, tapping on the window to give her a warning to back up a little bit.

Artemis scoffed when she noticed Han approaching her cell, immediately backing away from the door. She hoped he wasn't coming to see her, but it was quite obvious he was.
