Devine smiled agreeably at her. "Alright, then." He said, taking leftover stew from the cabinet.

"Wow, your face actually kind of stopped frowning for a little bit. I would say the s-m-i-l-e word but I don't really want to ruin this moment." Aya said, teasing slightly. It was early in the morning, and nobody had died yet, so she thought that just a little bit of teasing wouldn't hurt anybody.

"Ooh, that's interesting. I've personally never read the bible, so sorry, but I think it's inspiring that your parents chose a name from such a holy thing! My parents didn't really name me because they thought it had meaning or anything. They just thought Timothy was a nice fit, I suppose. But, I was a fat, screaming baby trying to learn how to breathe right then so I don't know if I should feel insulted when they say the name still fits." He laughed and sighed, sipping at his coffee.
"Oh, and Cassie, is that hair natural? Like, those waves are so cute. I wish I could get my hair like that, but those curlers just destroy my hands. I always burn myself, I'm such an idiot!" He smiled humorously, looking to Cassie.
Mercy laughed and shook her head. "It's not a name in the Bible, it is just one of the virtues, like purity, grace and the others." She explained with laughter.

"It is natural" Cassie said with a blush. She dipped her head, looking to her cup for a minute. "Have you tried the old fashioned wet curlers overnight? Those won't burn you and do nice curls."

Artemis scoffed when she noticed Han approaching her cell, immediately backing away from the door. She hoped he wasn't coming to see her, but it was quite obvious he was.

Han put in the cell's code, and slowly opened the door, quickly stepping in and closing it.
"Well, pretty dark in here." He commented, looking to Artemis. "It'll be fun living in here for the rest of your lifetime. Maybe you'll just lose your eyes, you won't really need them anyway."
He fumbled with the cuffs in his hands for a few moments before adding something he felt was important,
"Oh, and Mythe is on his way right now. I'm assuming you remember him."

Artemis shied from Han at his commentary, but thankfully the darkness masked her expression of fear. "Why would you let Mythe please himself by hurting me?" She said, almost boldly, in a sneaky way of talking Han out of his word, "He lied to you this once, and if he felt so confident in doing so I am sure there are many more things he has kept from you. Are you willing to risk having him betray you in the future, if he hasn't already?"

Amy arrived at the shop and entered, still humming, with grocery bags hung over both arms. She pushed the back door open with the toe of her foot. The first thing she noticed when she entered was the lack of noise. "Hello?" She called. She deposited the bags on the doorway and went to look in the kitchen, leaving the back door wide open. The front door was wide open as well, flooding the once cozy shop with light made eerie by the pool of dark liquid on the ground. Was that..blood? Wide eyed with fear, Amy stooped down see the pool better. She tentatively stuck the tip of her pinky nail in it, her brow furrowing in disgust as she was pretty positive it was indeed blood. But whose?? "Artemis? Jenny?" She called up the stairwell.

Vanessa stormed down the hallway towards her office, hurriedly typing up Jaxson's number as she went. It rang, and rang, and rang. Cursing under her breath, she stopped just long enough to redial.
-
With a roll of his eyes, Jaxson answered the call. "Yes??" He said impatiently.
-
"Where are you?" Vanessa demanded.
-
Jaxson scoffed. As if she really wasn't aware. "The same place I always am at this time," he said flatly. He didn't suspect a thing by her voice, since she always carried that tone since Artemis' escape.
-
Vanessa didn't say anything further. She simply hung up. He didn't know, or at least he was pretending he didn't. But he had never been a good liar in her opinion so she was pretty sure he didn't know.
"Artemis??" Amy was frantic now. She'd been through the whole upstairs, including the hiding place, and there was no sign of either of her friends. She had no idea whose blood was spilled downstairs and there was no one near the shop to ask. As a last resort, she pulled out her phone to call Jaxson.

Jaxson, completely oblivious to Artemis' presence in the building, continued his rounds. A buzz in his pocket and he pulled out his phone, which he had muted in case Vanessa went phone crazy again. A frown formed on his lips when he saw the name of the caller. He didn't intend to answer, but when she called a second, then a third time, he finally picked up. "Amy? Everything all right?" He asked quietly. Checking over his shoulder, he turned onto an empty hall.

"I see what you're getting at, and I want you to shut up. I know Mythe. He acts like he's mysterious, but he's far from it. I know he hasn't fully committed to the C.M.I, but I still have ways of controlling him, and it works. I know everything he does, and he even knows it himself. He is not lying to me, and I somehow have faith in that." Han said, raising his voice slightly and obviously showing his anger.
"I control him. Besides, I'm sticking him with a kid I found. Anything Mythe says, that kid'll spill."

"Okay smartypants, you can stop laughing now." Timothy said, rolling his eyes at Mercy jokingly. He then turned back to Cassie,
"I did try the old fashioned curlers once. But my dad found out I bought them, and stormed into my room in the morning to see if I had been using them. Oh my god, when he saw them he was furious. I had a head full of those curlers, and just stared at him while he was yelling at me about being 'feminine'. He was more of a traditionalist, and he really did want more of a manly son, I guess you could say. But, you know, he always did love me, he's the best dad I could have. He was just having a bad day and was tired of his little stupid girly teenage son.
So, I guess I just had one bad experience with those curlers and never considered using them again...Though, my hair did look amazing that day."
Timothy chuckled and shook his head lightly when he finished his story.
"My poor dad, having to put up with me!"

Artemis immediately looked away when Han admitted to knowing what she was doing. When Han mentioned using a kid against Mythe she didn't dwell on it, asumming he was telling her tales for his own puepose. She wondered if he could see how upset he had made her, by bringing Mythe to her.

Cassie shrugged a little. "I was talking more about the water and rags, but I think I know the kind you are a talking about. Those are best and don't frazzled your hair as badly as the new dry heat ones." Cassie said, glancing to Mercy who had quieted now.

"Well, maybe I'll try them again some time." He stated simply. He then paused for a few moments as he finished his coffee, and checked his Fitbit watch to see what time it was.
"I think I best be off now, got little meetings and such I need-or should-attend to." Timothy told them both, once the conversation had died down. "Though, I'll pay for both of you guys's coffee."
