Artemis sat silently on the bed inside her cell, waiting until someone came to take her to be interogated as she knew they would. She only wondered how long they would work with her until her end came with the realization that she would never give in.

(For moi? Sure, why not.)

Jaxson, whistling to himself because whistling is what stereotypical security guards do, removed the handcuffs from his belt and spun them around his finger as he walked down an aisle of cells. He avoided making eye contact with the prisoners by focusing on the metal numbers that hung above each cell. Both his whistling and walking ceased when he reached cell thirteen, paused, and produced a shiny gold key from his pocket.
Jaxson raised his hand slightly in awkward greeting before stepping through the doorway. "Turn around," he told Artemis as he opened the handcuffs.

Thomas waited for quite a while to see if the dog had a reaction, but to no avail. The dog was perfectly fine, and Thomas couldn't do another test because he had to interrogate somebody very soon.
Looking through his pantry of chemicals and medicines, he chose the ones that would help him get answers the most and filled many needles up with the different liquids. Some caused pain, some made you unable to move for short periods of time, pretty normal stuff. He even had some bullet ant venom that wouldn't kill anybody, but was said to be the most painful venom in the insect kingdom. He loved how creative he could be with different injections, because nobody expected such a small dosage of anything to be so catastrophic.

(Everyone's worst nightmare...Tons of shots!

Artemis stood and crossed the cell. Obediently she turned to allow the guard to handcuff her; she knew she could not overthrow the guard at that very moment, but rather waited the perfect opportunity with eagerness. She may have been ready to give her life to stop bloodshed of the innocent, but that didn't mean that she would die without a fight. She smiled darkly to herself knowing she would never give in. She only hoped she could be as brave as her parents had been.

(Sorry I left, my neighbor was taken to the hospital. I now have to go to bed though.)
