Vanessa slammed the drawer shut and went out in the hall to see what the commotion was about. A guard going past quickly relayed the news to her before he turned down the hall, gun drawn and ready to fire should the prisoner for some reason be on this level.
Vanessa's thoughts immediately turned to Jaxson. At this hour, he would still be on his shift. The guard hadn't said who had escaped, but Jaxson would likely know. Unless. Vanessa shook the horrid thought from her head. He wouldn't dare. She took the elevator to Level 01 and, dodging running guards, headed for the cell that had consumed the majority of her brother's time lately.

Artemis kept her path unpredictable as she ran through out the maze of the great spacecraft. Running harder with the nearby approach of the guards, she kept her eyes watchful for any type of escape, or something that could be used to her advantage.

I would like her to escape, but I also enjoy challenges. Besides, you don't want her to strode out of the spacecraft without trouble, that's no fun!

Please don't use tranquilizers on her, though, those our so unfair

(Don't worry, I won't! )

As all of the guards chased her, one was managing to get rather close. But his gun was out of bullets, so he had no other choice but to attempt to grab her.
"Stop right there, you pest!" He shouted at her angrily as he made an attempt to catch up to the prisoner completely.

"Okay. I only have a knife, but I'll try and help you." Trixie's gaze softened. "I'm sorry. You don't have to do this if you don't want. You could be killed."
Charlie sighed as he thought about the situation. Even if they did successfully escape, what was the point? They'd have to hide from the C.M.I, which means that they would still have basically no freedom.
"I think we should...Give up, and let them take us. It won't be worth it if we escape." Charlie told Trixie quietly.

Trixie's eyes flashed, and she frowned, prepared to argue.
And then she realized that Charlie was making sense. "All right," she said, slumping. Broken. "We surrender," she called out.
"Good," one of them hissed at her.
And then they were surrounding her, and Charlie, putting handcuffs on their wrists and tightening them to the maximum.

Charlie sighed, shaking his head. What had he done that would trigger the C.M.I like this? His Father always told him to avoid stuff like this, but he seemed to have failed at doing that.
He kept quiet as they handcuffed him, and wondered whether they were going to search him or not. If they didn't, what a bunch of idiots. If they did, too bad for him.
