A rumble of laughter erupted from the C.M.I. "You misunderstand. We are not arresting you on the terms of American government. We are arresting you under the terms of our government. Legally, you are not 'under arrest'. There are no felonies against you, according to the U.S. government. But, to us? You are prisoners. And believe me, you wish you were being arrested by the U.S. And, as for your gun," the leader paused, a smile tugging at his lips, "you could fire at us. Maybe kill a few. But, you only have one gun. Maybe two, if the girl has one. But we? We have fifty."

Trixie cried out. "This isn't - You can't - There are laws! Someone's going to figure out that two American citizens have vanished!"

"You don't have alibis. Whatever we say against you would be considered true by most."

Trixie closed her eyes. Of course.
Charlie stood there, having no idea what else to say or do that could get them out of this situation. His career! His Father! What would his Father do about college when Charlie couldn't work anymore, and couldn't support the two of them? Charlie's mind filled with utter regret as he stood there in defeat.
Still staying silent, Charlie subtly looked to Trixie just to see if she could hint at any sort of idea as what to do.

Simeon looked at the scar with wonder and horror. He replied "Well, I suppose you have a job with the Contenders. I guess you should start that up again." He then asked " want me to look at the wound?"

"Not until I am sure that no one is tracking me." With a sigh Brooklyn wearily took seat at the table. She slowly nodded her head at his question.

"You have no choice," Jaxson said flatly. He injected the needle in his arm and looked up. "I'm not asking you to knock me out. I saved you that trouble by using this, now you just have to make it look like you're why I'm out," he explained. "Please, shoot the camera and get on with this. We don't have much time."

Artemis nodded in agreement, knowing it was the only way. She quickly followed through by shooting the camera with precision, then rushing to Jaxson's side punched him as hard she could, imagining him as her enemy while doing so, rather than her friend. She immediately regretted what she'd done at the sight of his bloody nose instant bruise that spread across his cheek. She took the emptied syringe from Jaxson's hand, hiding it in her pocket knowing that if he were found with it it was all the proof the C.M.I. needed to convict him as a traitor. "I'm so sorry." She whispered, looking at his face once more before bolting from the cell. She ran harder than she ever had before, avoiding the guards as mush as possible as she searched for an exit.
(Garrrr, catch me if you can :p )

Jaxson stumbled back at the force of the blow. Despite the pain, he managed a little smile, pleased that she had followed through with his command. The sedative was quickly settling in and his thoughts and sight were jumbling together. Just before things went black, he managed to cuff himself to make his predicament look even worse to the whomever would come through here first.

Vanessa, completely oblivious to the activity in Cell 13, was hurriedly going through a drawer that had been left slightly open. Something was missing from it, she just knew. The door was locked, but someone had been in her office for something. She checked her clipboard again to take inventory once more. Aha. One syringe and needle was missing. That wouldn't normally of caused her worry, but for the fact that the level of one bottle of propofol had been lowered considerably. She was about to check to make sure nothing else was missing when an alarm out in the hall went off, loud and clear, proclaiming a security breach, perhaps.
