"Alrighty then. I think I know a rather good place we could go to." Aya told him and led the way to a small cafe. She did want to go to a different little local coffee shop, the owner being a girl named Amy, she recalled, but she was sure it would be closed by this time so they would have to settle for something different.

Boop.

(This post just proved me right  I said I tend to miss the last post on a page, and then I completely missed this post because my phone took me to the page after this one to see the 'unread posts' :p )
Devine nodded his head, ready to follow wherever Aya lead him. Hands in his pockets, he kept a close eye on every person within his sight.

Now that's just creepy. Maybe sometime. :p

I don't have time to RP so I just read. I know. Weird.

(Ok, just wondering. Know that you're welcome to join at any time. And no, that not weird. I loving reading, it inspires me to keep writing my novels whenever I get discouraged.)

They arrived at a small cafe that hadn't closed yet, but was mostly empty of people.
"Welp, here we are." She said simply and stopped at the entrance, opening the door and waiting for Devine to walk through. She still considered him a stranger, and very odd as well, but might as well be nice.

Artemis slowed her step as she followed the paved trail. She was extremely tired of pushing herself so hard not having the strength she usually possessed been given so little food these last few days. She kept herself moving, so that she was still gaining distance between the men who persued her, even though she was pacing herself. She needed to give herself a break, just so that when she needed to run she would again have some of the energy she had at first, then maybe she wouldn't push herself to the brink of death. She left the path and walked deeper into the forest. She knew that it was risky, but she hoped the leaves would hide her footprints knowing that iy would be much harder for anyone to follow her.
The C.M.I's dogs, which consisted of Anatolian Shepherds, were released and sent to follow any scent of an unfamiliar human. The group of canines sniffed the ground for a few moments and headed off in the direction Artemis had really gone, the guards struggling slightly to stay close behind the fast dogs. They growled and barked, slobber dripping from their mouths as they determinedly did what their masters had trained them to do for years.
