Jaxson lead her along, though there was hardly any need since she knew the path well. "Is your headache gone?" He asked.

" Quite the opposite, actually. It's grown worse during the past hour." Although not explained aloud Artemis knew why the headache had grown worse; it wasn't from pain, but rather from the fear that was consuming her concerning how she would escape certain death.

"No, thanks." Artemis smiled softly. "The medicine helps conceal physical pain, but cannot help with mental ones."

"It was less painful, I'm sure than the one to come." Artemis whispered, convinced that by tomorrow Hans would know that the information she gave was false, and that her execution would be completed the following day, if not by tonight.

"Now that's just depressing," Jaxson chuckled, despite the situation.

(Did you get my PM?)

Artemis glared towards Jaxson before returning to her cot, where she sat rubbing her sore wrists in deep thought.
"Okay, well," Jaxson turned to leave, but stopped at the doorway. "I'll have some water sent in ASAP and perhaps I can procure a meal," he said thoughtfully.
