"I...Don't really understand why you're apologizing. I'd just like to know what's made you so upset, because it's unfortunately more than obvious you are crying." Charlie told her in a kind tone of voice. Though he was actually very perplexed and rather uncomfortable, not really familiar with people randomly crying when they see a book.
"This is stupid," Trixie confessed, tears still in her eyes. "I'm so stupid. God. I'm sorry." How was it, that him trying to understand forced shame, searing hot shame into her belly? "I'm crying - " Trixie laughed shakily, tearfully, "I'm crying because of a book."
Trixie forced herself to gather her bearings, to let the thoughts of her family drift away, like a feather on a breeze. They don't mean any more than that - a feather on a breeze, Trixie reminded herself. She smiled at the man. "Okay. Do you believe everyone gets a second chance in life?" Trixie asked, her lopsided smile showing what s strange question she knew she had asked.

Charlie, who rather enjoyed philosophical questions such as the one she just asked him, took a few moments to think.
"Well, that depends on your past. There are some things that you just can't escape from, and you can't escape from yourself either." He finally answered calmly. "But, depending on what has happened in your past, I believe that in some cases you can have a second chance at a new life."

Han, now knowing that it was likely Artemis wouldn't give the C.M.I any information, headed to the execution room, since the people who worked there were responsible for everything relating to the execution of a selected individual,
Walking into the room without knocking, he entered a large office full of shelves with files in them. At the end was another room, where the actual killing happened, but he only had to be here to get the job done.
The people sitting at various desks looked to their boss with concern. It actually wasn't often that he came in here, so whenever he did come they expected the worst side of his personality. Though Han remained calm, and approached the man who was sorting the files.

"Get Artemis's file. 19 years old, female." Han ordered strictly and the worker quickly started searching for the girl's file. When he found it Han took it from his hands and examined it.
"I want her dead by tonight. She continues to refuse to give us any information, and simply told a bunch of lies. So she is useless. Tell the executioners. Now." Han's voice was menacing and he was definitely bringing out the more intimidating side of himself as he loomed over the worker.

"Yes sir." The worker said quickly and went over to the execution room, where the executioners were busy keeping the different weapons in good shape. He came back a minute later, now with the file gone, and looked to Han.
"They'll have it done as soon as possible, sir." He informed Han. Han nodded, and swiftly left the room, satisfied with himself.

(Also, whenever you are in the actual military, usually you have to give your 'boss' all of your information. So he knows everything about you, which means that if you kill someone or betray the place, they can easily find you and will have you killed or imprisoned. So, if anybody betrayed the C.M.I in any way, I would only assume that that could easily cause the person's certain death because I don't see why such a serious program trying to protect Earth would be any different with their rules.)

(Yeah, ok. Also will they contact Jaxson to bring Artemis to be executed, or how will we incorporate him?)

Trixie shifted on the soles of her feet. "Yeah. Yeah, that makes sense." Her brow furrowed, Trixie took a moment to study the man before her. "What'd you say your name was?"

Simeon went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Hopefully, she liked eggs and bacon.

Brooklyn couldn't keep herself from moaning as she tried to clean her wound, dealing with pain alone as she had always done. She leaned against the wall feeling suddenly faint.

"I...Actually don't believe I've told you my name yet. I apologize for that. My name is Charlie Hunter." Charlie held out his hand to shake her's with one corner of his mouth curled upwards slightly in a smile, "May I know what your's is as well?"

"Tayl - Trixie. My name is Trixie," she stated, watching Charlie's lanky figure. "I think that I should - " Trixie was interrupted by the chaotic explosion of gunshots. She cried out, a hand falling to the knife at her hip.

"Well, they've taken something from all of us, I believe." Aya said dully and sighed. "But maybe you should just forget about having any sort of revenge. It will only be a waste of time in the end, whether the thing they took was a person or an object. And, I know I'm not the thing they took from you, but if I was dead I don't think I'd want someone to think about it all the time, and want to do the action that killed me to someone else. But that's only my opinion, and I'm a stranger." Aya paused for a few moments and looked around, rather uncomfortably. For her, this conversation with this man was getting a little too personal. She had met a million people that have wanted revenge, but usually it only ended in their execution, so she tried to separate herself from people with a revenge-filled personality for her own safety.

Devine thought over her words, intrigued, at first, by them. "Yes, but I failed to do that which I promised to, and not it has become my duty to make things right, even if that means I must lose my life to fix my wrongs." He replied, his words so emotionless that no one would know the weight the matter burdened his heart with.
