Aya had gotten some unfortunate news about a buddy she had during surgeries who died in a shooting, so that day of work was canceled for her, her assistant taking over instead, so she could attend the funeral.
Now it was nighttime, and the funeral had been over for a few hours. Aya sighed as she sat in her home, still in her formal black dress she wore, wondering what to do with her day. Going to bed with feelings like this was never healthy, so she had to do something about it.

Washing her face to remove any evidence of crying, she redid her makeup and decided maybe going out for a drink wasn't a bad idea. Sure, she'd be alone, but at least it was something.

Grabbing her purse, Aya left her house and locked her door, getting in her car and driving away. Usually it was difficult to upset her, but the fact that the people who had killed her working partner got away unscathed made her insides boil in anger.

When Aya entered town, she got out of her car and decided she would walk the rest of the way. Walking was useful, since it would always clear her head.

(Will reply to tomorrow, for now I'm gonna get some sleep ;) )

(Can't respond to this because Artemis is with another guard somewhere else on the spacecraft, but I'm still enjoying your posts

I'm enjoying writing them, so I'm glad you enjoy reading them)

Vanessa turned into the hall, and, not seeing anyone, began to panick. With a prisoner escaped, they surely wouldn't leave this whole hall unattended. She barely glanced at the other prisoners as she approached Artemis cell. "Jaxson, you in here?" She called out worriedly. At first, she didn't see anything at all. Perhaps he had taken Artemis to another interrogation. But no, there he was, slumped against the back wall.
Vanessa rushed in and kneeled at his side and immediately began checking him. "Jaxson, can you hear me?" She asked in a calm tone that surprised herself. No reply. She checked his pulse, then stood and went to the doorway. "Hey!" She called out to a guard at the end of the hall and hurried after him.

The guard stopped in his tracks and turned to see who had called. "Ma'am, we're doing our best to find her," he said quickly, assuming that was why he was being called. "She is armed though, so I highly recommend you get off this floor until the prisoner is located."
Frowning, Vanessa waited impatiently while he finished his warning. "I appreciate your concern, but I've got a gun and I'm not an idiot," she snapped. "And if you aren't aware, sir, there is an unconscious guard in the prisoner's cell. And, unless I'm blind, there is no one in there tending to him or even aware that he is in there."
The man glanced down at her name tag then to her. "Are you not a doctor?" He asked, smirking slightly.
Vanessa glared at him as she retorted, "Yes, but I just thought you idiots might like to know we've got a guard out cold." So saying, she turned on her heel and returned to the cell to see what she could do in the immediate for Jaxson.
The guard sighed in irritation before sending the message over his walkie-talkie, then continued on his way to the exit.

(I completely forgot she had a gun!)

Artemis avoided the guard until she came to a door were stood another guard. She slowly turned in a circle, looking for a way out as she realized that she had been surrrounded.
(Well, she's got a gun, so you're gonna have to make your own way out. :p )

The guards gathered in a circle and cautiously got closer, their guns pointed directly at her with their fingers on the triggers.
"Don't you dare move a muscle!" One of them shouted at her.

(Sorry about the boring posts. I'm not good with filler characters.)

Trixie tried to swallow her guilt. "I am one. A Contender."
She couldn't see anything in the dark, wondered how Charlie was reacting. Wondered if he was mad, or sad, or still thinking of his dad.
(He was a glad little lad, thinking of an ad, and he was pretty rad, thinking of the life he had, and wondering what other words to add.)

Despite the fact that Charlie couldn't see Trixie, he turned to her.
"You're...A Contender?" He questioned and sighed. "Not to blame you or anything, but I wonder if that's why they took me too...Because since I had you hide, they could think I was part of the Contenders as well...Since I was protecting you."

(Now, nobody kill me when I say this, but I actually side with the C.M.I quite a bit. I mean, this is kind of like the whole Middle East and America type thing. Us getting along completely and becoming one just can't happen. I actually kind of want to know everyone else's opinion on the whole peacemaking between the aliens and the humans thing.
I'm not insane.

(Ha lol I didn't even mean to rhyme)

Trixie thought that that was highly possible. "Probably," she admitted, ducking her head.

(If they [the aliens and clones] are going to be around anyway, would you not want to first try to attempt peace before just killing whoever objects a bit? :p And it's not like the aliens are dropping bombs all over the where, they were just trying to find a new home when the humans turned on them with violence.)
