( I'm dying to see that, but it's taking so long to get to the US! :hit
I was waiting to give Artemis some running time so V & J's actions would be relative to her time.
^^ does that make sense? Or should I go back to bed  )

(I thint so. Yesterday I woke up at night at every hour, (seemed like), because of a real bad sore throat. I don't think a person deprived of sleep should tell someone else that they need more sleep :gig)

(I love danger, bring it on! Besides, I couldn't go outside her character, there's gotta be some rule against that, right? We'll just see what happens

The dog had nearly caught up with Artemis, and she despretly searched for some way to escape the dogs blood-thirsty jaws. She looked ahead, seeing a tree there. She ran harder, hoping she could reach the tree before the dog reached her. Then, maybe, she could escape the dog by climbing higher thatn it could reach.
The muscular dog sprinted after her, its barks and growls mixed with its tail that was wagging a hundred miles an hour making it difficult to tell whether it wanted to kill Artemis or if it was just really excited. Though it would probably be best to assume the worst.
As the growls of more dogs grew louder and louder, it was becoming obvious that this dog's booming barks were telling the others exactly where they should be going.

"Yeah," Trixie agreed. "I think that, even though we're lacking weapons, we could use surprise to take them. I mean, obviously it's going to be hard, but it'll be easier if we had a distraction, or if they didn't know we were coming. Which they won't."
Trixie rested her head back on the cold, smooth wall behind her.
"Now we just need to actually do it." Charlie said and sighed. "I doubt this'll be fun. But hopefully the whole thing will be in our favor."

Artemis came to the tree, climbing to rest on its highest limb; leaving the dog unable to reach her. Hearing more dogs barking close by she took her tazer, and tazered the dog despite the regret she felt for hurting a creature who was only doing what it had been taught to. No matter, she valued her life above the dog's, and hearing the calls of the approaching dogs she could not let this dog lead the men to her. With the dog unconscious, she was able to come down from her elevated seat in the tree, running in the opposite direction of the oncoming men in search of a creek she could hide her scent in.

Devine casually looked around the cafe, finding it empty except for a single person working behind the counter. He waited until the woman at the counter turned on some kind of loud machine. He leaned closer to Aya, whispering; "I am a secret agent assigned by the government to seek and destroy remaining Mira." As the hum of the coffee machine quieted, he leaned back against the booth and waited for Aya's response.

"Hm, well then, rather impressive." She commented simply after he had told her. She always slightly wondered how anybody managed to get a job like that. Because if it was a complete secret, it's not like they'd be putting "Secret agent wanted" signs everywhere so somebody would take the job.
"Though, isn't it kind of a bad idea to tell me this? We don't know each other very well, and I could technically be anyone."

The dog yelped when Artemis used the tazer on him and fell to the ground, now completely silent. As Artemis left, the pack of dogs and men found the tree, but only found a hurt Anatolian lying on the ground unconscious.
The dogs sniffed the tree, since Artemis' scent was on it, and were slightly convinced that she was in it, but the guards looked up and saw nothing so they were sure she had gone elsewhere.

One of the Anatolians had picked up Artemis' newest scent trail and barked, looking at her fellow humans and wagging her tail.
"Hey! Sic 'em!" One of the guards commanded, and the Anatolian howled, alerting the pack that she had found the right trail, and they all ran in that direction, running over the unconscious dog Artemis had tazered.

Trixie agreed. "Hopefully," she said. Then, she curled up against the wall, added a bleary 'good night,' to Charlie, and fell asleep.

Charlie said 'goodnight' back, but unlike Trixie, didn't sleep at all, nor did he try. He instead sat in dark silence with the hope that he'd possibly be able to listen up on the C.M.I's conversations. That would at least provide him with entertainment.

Trixie woke up to what she could only assume was morning - even though there were no windows in the room. She could just make out the lanky shape of Charlie. Unblinking brown eyes flashed in the gloom, proclaiming him awake.
